For the feel of a neighborhood bar with the Kings on the tube, Cheaters is the place to go in East Sacramento. The bar doesn't offer food, but they won't turn you away if you're bringing in your own. The beer is on tap for $3.75 or less and well drinks are only $3, so this is one of the city's more budget-friendly spots to catch a Kings game. There is also a full bar that gets the thumbs up from patrons for the economically priced, stiff drinks. The jukebox keeps the music playing, the popcorn is always free and the sports memorabilia plastered on the walls will keep you interested before or after the game. The Kings games aren't the extent of the sports enthusiasm here, though. During football season, Cheaters is known as the gathering place for die-hard Steelers fans. At Cheaters, you'll mostly find a crowd of regulars, but new-comers are always welcome, as long as they're cheering for the right team.
