9am Topic: What Seems To Take Forever?
The saying "just a minute" has to be one of the most-abused terms used in the English language. When is it really ever a minute?
Nowhere does 60 seconds mean so little than during the NCAA Tournament, where the final minute of each game this year has varied in length from 1.1 minute (Oregon-BYU) to a 14.2 minutes (Syracuse-Dayton). Depending on how close the game is, you can be sure the last minute on the clock is chock-full of fouls, time outs and other time-delaying shenanigans.
That leads us to the question of the day: It's supposed to take a minute, but __________ takes forever? Tell us what you think seems to take forever.
