Best Spots To Watch The Super Bowl In Sacramento

Downtown Sacramento is considered the heart of the city and the generous amount of bars and sports bars reflect this fact. Venture out on Super Bowl Sunday and cheer for your team at the city's hottest sports bars. Bring your friends and enjoy great specials and entertainment at these outstanding Sacramento establishments.


Hours: Mon - Tues 5 p.m. - 2 a.m.; Wed 12 p.m. - 12 a.m.; Thurs - Fri 2 p.m. - 2 a.m.; Sat - Sun 9 a.m. - 1 a.m.

The Raven Club is classically traditional in size and atmosphere.  As you enter, there is an immediate charm that envelopes you and invites you to share a drink and take in a local sports event. Reasonably priced drinks are served by enthusiastic bartenders. Club Raven is a great venue to gather with friendly patrons, share some free popcorn and cheer for your team on Super Bowl Sunday.

Playerz Sports Bar & Gar is not located within the alphabet lettered streets of the downtown, but the bar nevertheless attracts a fair number of fans who enjoy the more pronounced family atmosphere this bar has to offer. The bar also has a D.J. on the weekends when there are no games broadcast, which adds immeasurably to the bar in terms of variety.  For those bold enough, you can also try your hand at impressing the friendly crowd with your best singing voice, as Playerz also provides Karoake. Cheaters Sports Bar is an older establishment and therefore, it does tend to cater to an older crowd, but all who enter are welcomed.  Drinks are reasonably priced, and if you do venture to Cheaters you will be rewarded with a traditional bar experience. Enjoy a great atmosphere and specials as you cheer for your team at Cheaters on Super Bowl Sunday.


Hours: Daily 5 p.m. - Close

Vega's Nightclub & Sports Bar has the wonderful advantage of being in a section of Sacramento known as Old Sacramento. The area is a strong tourist magnet and most who plan on visiting Sacramento will make it one of the first stops along their tour.  Vega's offers a classy decor to entice its patrons to stay along with a fire pit in an outdoor courtyard area. Between commercial breaks, fans can shoot pool on one of two premium pool tables.  The club also offers dancing on a generous dance floor.


Hours: Mon - Thurs 11 a.m. - 12 a.m.; Fri11 a.m. - 2 a.m.; Sat - Sun 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

MVP's Sports Grill is located in the heart of downtown Sacramento. The bar is spacious, yet quite intimate in the manner in which the club had been cleverly designed. Numerous flat screen monitors will enable all fans a front row seat to the game. A special mention must be given to the second floor of this fine establishment. The area is designed with the mixed martial arts fan in mind. A great design that proved to be a popular area to take in a game.
