Thanksgiving Travel Fun
The Wednesday before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year. Traffic at SMF is up 5 percent over last year, which means the airport will serve 40,000 more passengers this month than November of 2015. That translates to about 28,000 passengers hopping onto or off an airplane in November and a more than  that  Nov. 23. Follow us as airport spokesperson tells you what at the airport might make getting there two hours early worth it, watch us shadow some of the Boarding Area Relaxation Corp dogs, and interview passengers in the concourse about their Thanksgiving plans.

Sea Monkeys Jazz Ensemble Fundraising
Help send the Sea Monkeys to N'Awlins! Huh?! River City High's ensemble jazz group (known as the Syncopating Sea Monkeys) is trying to get to the birthplace of jazz music -- New Orleans! But they need help!!

This is the 20th anniversary of the Sea monkeys and the school is trying to get all 19 students to New Orleans for a week to learn about the true spirit of jazz music. On their trip, they are planning on playing different venues and visiting historic sites relating to the origination of jazz!!

Paralympic Athlete
Jamie Whitmore is a force to be reckoned with. Whitmore began cycling professionally in 2001, where she won 37 career victories, including six national titles and world titles. But in 2008, she learned that she had a rare form of cancer, leaving her fighting for her life. Three years after her diagnosis, she was cancer free and the mother of twin boys, born in January 2010. She won her first Paralympic national title in 2012, and has since become of the top female cyclists in the world. And so it's no big surprise this year she came back from Rio with 2 medals, a gold and silver, in cycling. Good Day is live learning more about her journey.
