Rescue Dog Saves Kittens
An adopted mother's love!  Today we meet the local rescue dog who donated blood to save an abandoned kitten!!  Good news, the kitten and his brother are now healthy enough to find a loving permanent home!  We'll share news on how you can adopt them!  Plus we'll meet sweet "Jemmie" who was a rescue herself and now got to pay it forward!  Jemmie's blood was used to create a special serum to help treat ulcers in the kitten's eyes!!

St. Francis HS Project
A group of juniors at St. Francis High School have formed Team CUREageous in support of their friend and classmate who fought leukemia last year. The group is holding a number of fundraisers to raise awareness and money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Tina is with them now to find out what they've learned.

Sac Field Day
Sacramento is literally having a field day this weekend. Hosted by Xoso Sport and Social League, the Sacramento Field Day will bring out the kid in you. Organizers say it'll be just like those elementary school field days, but strictly for grown-ups!
You'll get all the classic challenges like Dizzy Bat and the Three-Legged Race, but they've also added some wacky new games and races to kick things up a notch. Field Day is the perfect day for friends, family, or even co-workers to come together and have fun while trying to earn back that playground pride.
