Sacramento's best baristas face off in Sacramento Public Latte Art Tournament! Today is the 2nd installment of this year's Sacramento Public Latte Art Tournament in which the top barista's from Sacramento and the surrounding area come together to compete in pouring the best latte art, which is judged by a three-person panel consisting of seasoned coffee professionals. We are expecting around 60 plus contestants and a great crowd.

In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Center for Elephant Conservation (CEC) give your viewers a first-hand look at the center that was established in June 1995. With the worldwide Asian elephant population dwindling to less than 40,000, CEC conservation efforts ensure that future generations have the opportunity to experience the endangered Asian elephant species. The state-of-the-art facility was designed for the reproduction, research and retirement of the Asian elephant, enabling Ringling Bros.® to share its elephant husbandry knowledge with the veterinary and conservation communities worldwide.

Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Replica
The Moving Wall is a 1/2 scale of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC, standing at six feet tall at the center and covering almost 300 feet from end to end. The Moving Wall includes the names of over 58,000 service members who gave their lives in service during the Vietnam Conflict. In addition to The Moving Wall, a Vietnam-era H-model Huey helicopter flown primarily at night during service will be on display.

Bean thinks he is a lap dog and will crawl up on you or hang out next to you on the couch. He enjoys other dogs and might do okay with cats too. He is super low key and is such a good boy. He has tested as heartworm positive and is currently on medication. He has a mild case and the shelter will provide the medication and give the injections that he will continue to need for another month.
