Melon Mint-jito Recipe
4 ounces Barefoot Refresh Crisp White
6-7 whole Mint Sprigs
Juice from 1/2 Lime
4 1" chunks Honeydew Melon
2 1" slices Bosc Pear (Cut Lengthwise)
1 ounce Simple Syrup
1 1/2 - 2 ounces Club Soda
Mint Sprig for Garnish
Place mint sprigs, lime juice, honeydew melon, pear and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Muddle lightly. Add Barefoot Refresh Crisp White and ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with additional mint sprig.
Save Our Schoolhouse
Willow Springs School House was built in the 1924 by local families in Amador County. It serviced families with kids in grades 1-8. It was closed in 1955 but has been used a community center ever since and it's in need of some repairs. And one of the kids who went there it's last year is now rebuilding it.
