KEN SAW THIS GROUP PERFORM FOR AN EVENT IN RANCHO CORDOVA LAST WEEK AND HE IS BRINING THEM HERE FOR US. THE KIDS WANT TO PERFORM 2 SHORT SONGS FOR IN THE 9AM HOUR. THE PARENTS WILL BE HERE TO ESCORT THE KIDS. THEY HAVE AN AMAZING TEACHER NAMED TREVOR WHO HAS THEM WHIPPED INTO SHAPE. THEY WILL BRING A CD OF MUSIC AND THE KIDS WILL NEED TO BE MIC'D, JUST 3 LAV MICS FOR THEM.

Sacramento State's Jazz Ensemble has been selected as one of six finalists in the college big band category of the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival and is getting ready to hit the road (March 27-29) to perform and compete with the other five. The annual festival offers a place for college, high school and middle school bands and vocal groups to perform, learn more about their craft and compete with other groups before an esteemed panel of adjudicators and judges from the jazz world.
