Baby Clothing Company Called Out For 'Fat-Shaming' Onesie

A hip baby clothing company is being called out for allegedly fat-shaming babies.

The onesie causing all the commotion has big lettering that reads "I Hate My Thighs." It was made by the company Wry Baby, who was selling the piece of clothing for $19.99.

That is, until an online uproar forced Wry Baby to pull the clothing off their website.

The company claims that the onesie tried to make light about body image consciousness, and noted in a Facebook post that bloggers seemed to ignore the positive version of their onesie that reads "Love Me For My Leg Rolls."

"We couldn't agree more about body image. That's why we made a ridiculous joke about it," the post read.

Do you think it was an ironic joke, or are they really inadvertently fat-shaming? Weigh in on the comments below.
