Thank you, Good Day Sacramento, so much for doing the piece on Vintage Tractor Days in Oregon House. My family donated the pink tractor to Rod to restore and help raise funds for the American Cancer Society in honor of our Mother, Margie A. Hodge Forguson. Rod and his associates did a wonderful job restoring the tractor to its original specifications and we will be forever grateful to everyone who participated in its restoration.

Where do we get raffle tickets? I watch GD 31 every morning with coffee to get my self started and this was quite a treat. I just finished restoring a 1939 ford 9n and my wife has already absconded it. To keep peace and/or piece she says I have to paint the seat hot pink. I have seen this vintage days tractor event a couple of years ago and one thing I recall is a guy with a Chrysler Hemi Engine, mounted in the back of his pickup with straight pipes and about once every hour he would start it up and the funny part was it was connected to a pencil sharpener.
400 horsepower to sharpen a pencil. I digress, FYI, this vintage tractor by ford changed farming! This design was the beginning of the 3 point hitch which could lift the implement out of the ground. About equal with cell phones versus pay phones in the farming community. There seems to be a resurgence of home gardens and farming and it was sure fun watching your staff drive the tractor and get a thrill! I also think you may bring some shriners benefit pizza to this event because they are a bunch of generous farm hick types.
