According to the National Weather Service, the last time Sacramento got measurable snow was on Feb. 5, 1976.  Areas in and around Sacramento got two inches of snow!! And now it could happen again.  To get us ready for this weather event, we take a look back at the storm of ’76 through the eyes of our viewers.

    I was in highschool that day and our princible at that time (Mr. Pride) came over the intercome and called for all students to leave for the day as it was impossible to keep us all in class because of the storm- the yearbook for Sacramento High has many pictures of students making snowmen and snowdragons!! fun!!!!
