Evangeline's is quite an experience any time of year, but the Old Sacramento shop is more exciting than Santa's workshop during the holiday season. Decorate your holiday tree with ornaments starring favorite characters of many eras, from Betty Boop and Elvis to Angry Birds and Family Guy. You can find tinsel, cards and Christmas lights as well. When planning your shopping stops, bear in mind that the choices lean more towards the jokey than the sophisticated. There is a good selection of holiday-themed jewelry, shirts and hats in stock and the store is a good spot to find trendy stocking stuffers.
