Officers Rescue Bear Cub Running On Highway In Placer County

PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) — CHP Gold Run officers were tasked with a peculiar job Monday along Interstate 80.

Officers captured a bear cub that was running on the freeway. Fortunately, they were able to return the cub to safety before it was hit by any vehicles.
