Bullet Holes Found At South Sacramento Elementary School

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police say bullet holes were found at a Sacramento elementary school Monday morning.

The discovery was made by a custodian at John D Sloat Elementary School at the corner of Candlewood Way and 69th Avenue.

Officers confirm bullet holes were found through the door leading to the principal's office, but when or why the shooting took place is unclear at this time.

Sacramento police say they will be following up on any leads.
