RIO LINDA (CBS13) - Authorities are investigating what led up to a fatal incident Monday in Rio Linda.

A pedestrian was hit and killed after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Elkhorn Boulevard at Marysville Boulevard

CHP and Sacramento Police Department investigators are at the scene piecing together details.

The identity of the pedestrian has not been released.
