Man Arrested Downtown For Battery Near GOP Convention

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A man was taken into police custody after a fight outside a Tea Party dinner downtown.

Police say protesters confronted people at the event, Just blocks away from the GOP convention.

A man was punched in the face and another man believed to be responsible was held down until police arrived.

He was charged with battery and later released.
