Water Tested At Grant High Fountains Has High Lead Levels

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Drinking fountains at Grant High School in Sacramento remain off because of lead and copper in the water.

According to Twin Rivers Unified School District, a test of water at the school has shown elevated levels of lead and copper in eight drinking fountains and faucets that were tested.

The district is also expanding their tests to all water fixtures on campus.

Tests for the well where the school gets its water supply have come back clear.
