3 California Men Charged With Illegally Selling Guns

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — A federal grand jury has indicted three Northern California men on charges of illegally selling guns.

The U.S. Attorney's office in Sacramento said Thursday that the charges were filed as part of a crackdown on illegal gun sales in California's Central Valley. Nearly two dozen people have been arrested on gun charges since 2016.

The three men charged Thursday are 29-year-old Arturo Napoles, 31-year-old Raymond Morin and 23-year-old Raul Diaz. All three were charged with manufacturing selling guns without licenses, including machine guns and assault-style rifles.

In addition, Napoles was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of methamphetamine for distribution.

The three men were arrested in Stockton. Court records don't indicate if any of the men are represented by attorneys.
