Man accused of throwing hot coffee during argument in line

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Police say they arrested a 61-year-old man after he threw scalding hot coffee on another man during an argument at the St. Paul Salvation Army.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports (http://bit.ly/1sUkbCH ) that police said the man butted in front of a pregnant woman who was standing in line at the Salvation Army on Wednesday. When the woman's husband objected, the man threw his coffee on him. The husband was taken to the hospital with severe blistering on his back. His wife wasn't hurt. Police arrived and arrested the coffee-thrower on suspicion of aggravated assault.
