Are you an aspiring or professional actress looking for a big break and an opportunity to shine? Well, now you have your chance! On Monday, January 25 in the 7 am hour we will have the brains behind a top-notch LA production company to promote their STARFALL SEARCH, a nationwide acting contest!
2LJ Productions wants to find an undiscovered, unique and charismatic actress to play the lead in their upcoming feature drama, Starfall. The winner will also be awarded a $50,000 grand prize! To enter the contest, you'll need to submit an audition.
If you'd like to have your audition featured live on Good Day during Monday's segment, please send in your submission no later than this Friday, January 22 by noon. The production team will check out the audition videos and select the best ones to share!
Please make sure it is mentioned in your submission that you heard about STARFALL SEARCH on Good Day! You must be at least 18 to be eligible to win the grand prize. No prior acting experience is necessary.
WHAT
Unlike the typical Hollywood casting process, "Starfall Search" is like an online version of American Idol, but for actresses.
Open to women (18+) in the USA and Canada.
- All ethnicities are welcome and no prior acting experience is necessary.
- The winner will receive a grand prize of $50,000, and in addition, will be offered a contract to play the lead role in Starfall.
- The first round requires contestants to upload a head shot, a body shot and a video recording of three pre-selected monologues.
- The three audition monologues are from classic stage plays: Three Sisters, A Doll's House, and Miss Julie.
- The monologues are available on 2LJ Productions' Facebook page,www.Facebook.com/2LJProductions.
Rounds:
- Round 1: Upload two photos and the three monologues to www.2LJProductions.com.
- Round 2: Top candidates from the first round will be selected for a live video audition (e.g. Skype), in which the actresses will be reading scenes from Starfall.
- Round 3: Top candidates from the second round will be selected for an in-person audition, in which the actresses will be performing scenes from Starfall with other actors.
- The best actress from the third round will be selected as the winner.
