Shopping Spree
Today some lucky kids will get the shopping spree of a lifetime thanks to the people from the 20-30 Club and Kohl's.
The 20-30 Club of Sacramento has selected over 100 kids this year from low-income households and are stocking their carts with $125 of clothes, shoes and personal items. In many cases, these children have grown up wearing hand-me-downs, and they've never had clothes of their very own. In addition, the kids are being given a backpack full of age-appropriate school supplies to get them started on a path of learning and free haircuts by the Paul Mitchell School, a hot breakfast and a visit from local firefighters in their fire truck.
