Hit And Run Driver Slams Into Parked Cars On Sacramento Street

SOUTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - The search continued Thursday morning for a driver who slammed into several parked cars in south Sacramento Wednesday night, careened up on the lawn of a home and then abandoned the car, according to officials.

The driver was heading down Persimmon Avenue near Pomegranate Avenue when the driver rammed into cars parked along the street.

In total, five cars were seriously damaged including a Mercedes Benz that was sandwiched between the suspect car and another parked car.

Eventually, the suspect car ended up on the front lawn of a home. The driver left and has still not been found.

No one was hurt. No other information was immediately released.
