Yo Yo Ma will be at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, located on the UC Davis campus, on January 29, 2013. This is a world-famous cellist with a few impressive albums to his name. He will be accompanied by pianist Kathryn Stott. This event is listed as a high-demand show and pre-bought tickets are recommended. The duet program will include Stravinsky, Brahms, Piazzolla and Falla favorites, among others. Tickets go for $15 for students to $175 for subscribers.

Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" is playing at the Sacramento Community Center Theater beginning March 6, 2013. The Fab Four Beatles tribute band comes to Crest Theatre for a memorable performance. A live Beatles concert is no longer possible, but this show is the next best thing. Enjoy your favorite tunes made famous by the beloved foursome. The Crest Theatre is one of the oldest movie theaters in Sacramento that was refurbished to its former glory. It hosts both special events and artistic films. Ticket prices range from $25 to $45.

Suspects Murder Dinner Theater, performed aboard the Delta King, has reservations available for this month and next month. It features a regular play in which individuals or groups arrange a dinner and then become part of the suspects as the dinner proceeds, serving as a great chance to become part of a play or to upstage someone else. An evening with Suspects Dinner Theater is by reservation only. The price starts at $39.50 for Fridays and $43.20 for Saturdays.
