Free Dog Clinic
The Sacramento County Bradshaw Animal Shelter is holding a free pet vaccine, microchipping and wellness clinic for dogs and giving out low-cost spay and neuter vouchers. These services are available only to Sacramento County residents. All dogs must be on leashes, while puppies must be in carriers or open boxes to prevent exposure to parvo on the ground. This is in hopes that people vaccinate and properly take care of their four-legged friends!

With Veteran’s Day coming up soon, True REST Float Spas wanted to find a way to honor those who are currently serving or have served our country. William Jessup University’s Creative Arts Department presents, “It’s a Wonderful Life!” The story is set on Christmas Eve when a man who has dedicated his whole life in service to his friends believes he would be worth more dead than alive. Main character George Bailey gets a heavenly peek into what life would be without him.

Bikes and Beers Bike Show
This morning Cambi is spending her Sunday mornign on two wheels! The Bikes and Beers Bike Show hosted by The Ride by Golz UpCycle is a bike show that includes beers, vendors, music, food and more! Lots of local business and unique bike related items are also on hand with some amazing bikes. Types of bikes include cruisers, BMX, road, cargo, mountain bikes and so much more!!

Time Change Yay or Nay?
In an interview with the Sacramento Bee, Assemblymember Kansen Chu said, “Daylight saving time is an institution that has been in place largely without a question for more than half a century. Deuce is going back to Jurassic Park! People can venture back to a time when the dinosaurs roamed the earth at Discover the Dinosaurs UNLEASHED and experience up-close encounters with a lifelike Stegosaurus, Velociraptor and the king T-Rex in this walk-thru exhibit. Kids can become junior paleontologists as they dig for fossils in the Valley of the Bones and visit the Kids Adventure Zone filled with themed bouncy houses, crafts and more. It’s family fun of prehistoric proportions!

Dance Sites 2016
Students of Sacramento State are rehearsing for a special dance number our for the December dance concert. The show is a re-creation of a piece originally created by Jose Limon (1908-1972), considered a crucial figure in modern dance. The piece Sac State dancers are doing is a suite from his master work “A Choreographic Offering.” It’s being directed by guest choreographer Gary Masters, a professor emeritus from San Jose State. Masters is rehearsing our students on weekends only.

Tiny Mites Cheer Squad
This morning the Tiny Mites Cheer Squad are joining us in the studio for a performance and some fun! This squad consists of five, six, and seven-year-olds. The squad just performed in San Jose for the JAMZ cheerleading competition all the girls received medals. They are now looking for any fundraising to help with not only next season but to get these girls some trophies and maybe end-of-year celebration for all their hard work.
