Woodcreek Lobos Garage sale
The Woodcreek Lobos Baseball team is heading to Cooperstown, NY! But in order to get there they must raise the money themselves! Today the 10U Lobos are hosting a huge garage sale that is going to help them raise money for next baseball season when they start playing on the 12U team, so when the time comes for them to head to Cooperstown, they’ll have enough money! The team has been fundraising all year and will continue to fundraise next year too!

Singer Franc D’Ambrosio
This weekend the Harris Center will be filled with the musical talents of Franc D’Ambrosio! Franc D’Ambrosio is an American singer and actor, best known for his role in the stage version of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera. He also played the adult Anthony Vito Corleone in The Godfather Part III. Franc is performing at The Classical Masters Music Festival to provide an interacting and engaging environment that supports and stimulates the interest of young people in music and performing arts all in a world-class venue.

Sacramento Farm-to-Fork Festival
The most-anticipated fresh-food party of the year will be back as the Farm-to-Fork Festival returns to Sacramento’s Capitol Mall, bigger and better than ever! After more than 50,000 people attended the Festival in 2015, Visit Sacramento will expand the event by an additional two city blocks, allowing more room for attendees to explore and additional exhibit space. Visitors will find more than a half-mile of booths from area farms, ranches, restaurants and local businesses, along with beer and wine gardens, larger chef demo stages, food trucks, an interactive kid’s area and more.

End-of-Summer Yoga

Greek Festival
Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church is inviting you to spend a Weekend in Greece! This weekend’s Greek festival will feature live, authentic Greek dancing performed by the parishioners and their children dressed in traditional Greek costumes and Greek music. In addition, there will be cultural displays and guided tours of the Byzantine-style church and guests can get the opportunity to view the beautiful iconography inside the church as well as the history of the Greek and the Greek Orthodox religion.

Sami Circuit
This morning we’re getting a visit from a very special guest, Sami Circuit!!! At age 8, Sami Kader began gaining weight and facing rejection from those around him. Throughout his elementary, junior high, and early high school years, he was mocked, bullied, and generally unaccepted by his peers. At age 16, a family friend intervened and insisted that Sami join him on his daily trips to the gym. By age 18, Sami had lost over 100 pounds and landed a job at a nationwide chain of health clubs.

Tahoe City Oktoberfest
This fall, Tahoe City’s annual Oktoberfest returns with a bang!!!
