Rainbow Festival is an annual LGBTI Pride event held in Sacramento over Labor Day weekend. The larger of two annual Sacramento pride events, Rainbow is based on an entertainment-centered lineup including events at local nightclubs, a street fair with multiple stages, internationally recognized headline acts, local and regional talent, as well as guest political speakers, and over 100 informational and vendor booths.

Chief’s Viral Act Of Kindness
An area police chief’s act of kindness is getting national attention. Marysvilles’ Chief Aaron Easton and his family just recently returned from a taping in Los Angeles with Dr. Phil to share the story of how he decided to help out a family in need this past Christmas. The Conns car broke down just before Christmas and Chief Easton helped get them not one, but two cars. But the good deeds didn’t stop with the new wheels.
