Auburn native Alexander Rossi will tackle the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 for the first time on Sunday, May 29. This marks Rossi’s first visit to Sacramento since signing with Verizon IndyCar Series team Andretti Autosport earlier this year. Rossi is in his rookie season in the Verizon IndyCar Series racing for Andretti Autosport; he also currently serves as a reserve driver for Manor Racing in Formula One.
