Free Comic Book Day

We have been visiting The Launchpad for the past few years. It's one of our favorite comic book and game locations. However, there is a familiar face that is now missing. David Phillips, co-owner of the launch pad, was one of the men who lost his life in a fatal car accident last week in Lodi. Family, friends and customers are remembering Dave this Saturday in what they say is the only way he would have had it, with a 24-hour game-a-thon and with free comic books. Heather is at the launch pad this morning as they prepare for Saturday's festivities.
