Fantasy Baseball
More than 25 local elementary schools are taking part in a big competition today down at Raley Field.
Today is the 5th Annual Sacramento Region Action Math Baseball Curriculum Tournament. The event has students set up in 2-player teams that compete for the right to be called Fantasy Baseball Region Champions.

Actor Ben Vereen
Broadway legend Ben Vereen presents the Sacramento Essay Awards on behalf of Wellness Through the Arts, a program Vereen created to help teens facing health and self-esteem issues. Ten local teens will present essays or videos during the event, which also will be filled with dance and music performances, and conclude with a VIP reception for Vereen and audience members.
