I’m Cute, Adopt Me!

Name: Gimli
Breed: Spaniel/Mix
Color: Tan/White
Age: 4 years old
Sex: Male
Adoption fee: $100

Gimli is such a love! He really enjoys his walks and spending time with you. Since he is low to the ground and somewhat small, he doesn’t like fast, unexpected movements so he would do best in a home with older teenagers and adults. He is also curious about other dogs and would probably do well with dogs. If you have a dog, be sure to bring him or her with you when you come to meet Gimli. He lived with cats and got along just fine with them.

Manly Minute: Your Buddy, Your Roommate
Moving in with your old pal can be an amazing and frugal post-college experience – it can also be a terrible hell. No matter how prepared you might be, moving out on your own for the first time can be a frustrating and frightening experience. Chances are that getting a roommate will have crossed your mind at some point, and frankly it’s probably one of the best moves you can make in your early 20s. The benefit of splitting rent and bills itself should make the prospect tempting enough, to say nothing of the added security and companionship. Before you put anything down on paper, however, there are a few things you’ll need to keep in mind. Read more
