Man Seen On Video Stealing Lights From Davis Home

A Davis family was targeted over the weekend by a man who stole their exterior Christmas lights. And it was all caught on video.

Just like the Grinch in the Christmas cartoon classic, on Sunday night, a bearded man wearing a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off casually walked up to the home, and over the course of about 4 minutes, took some of their Christmas cheer.

In the video, you see the man reach up and pull the lights off a doorway. He then takes lights hung on the fence.

Neil Michael has lived in the home for 10 years and says he isn't surprised about the act.

"Living downtown in a college town you, are part of the college experience. We see a lot of idiotic behavior and put up with it," said Michael.

He says he hasn't filed a police report since the man took only about $90 worth of lights.

Michael has since put up new lights around his home.
