'Famous In 12' Cast Reads Mean TMZ Comments

Three sisters from the "Famous in 12" family appear in a TMZ video responding to comments after they were introduced on the tabloid magazing website. MaariyahJameelah and Taliah Artiaga are taking the haters head on.

"Famous in 12" is a reality show premiering June 3 at 8 p.m. on CW stations. It's a social media experiment dreamed up by the folks at TMZ. The idea is to take an unknown family, give them opportunities to achieve Kardashian-like fame.

In the video posted on TMZ, Taliah replied to a comment, "TMZ Kitty says, 'Really TMZ! Why? More dummies.' That's funny because I definitely got a 1436 on my SATs. What did you get ... 8-850?"

The Artiaga family was chosen among 10,000 videos submitted from all over the world.

Executive Producer Harvey Levin explained how the measure of success will be how the public engages with the family on social networks. "We are putting them all over the place: Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, everywhere! And you are going to be a big part of this show, because how you feel about this family is going to determine whether they become famous or not."
