CW Stars Visit Sick TVD Fan

Our resident vampires made a trip out to Canada this past week to visit a very brave and strong The Vampire Diaries fan. This is why we love our TVD stars so much!

After finding out about their sick fan, Kayla Baker currently in need of a double lung transplant, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev decided to send a special message via a tweet from Nina,"@kayla_0507 I made a special video for you – watch it when you have a second xo Nina." In the message, the TVD stars surprised Kayla by telling her to clear her schedule on March 30th. The couple stayed true to their promise and took the trip out to Toronto to visit the ailing fan and make her Vampire Diaries dreams come true.

Following the visit, Nina kept the well wishes coming tweeting a photo of her and Baker, "Thinking of you today – sending you positive vibes! We had so much fun hanging out with you yesterday!"

And The Vampire Diaries fans, have no fear concerning the rumors Ian and Nina are on the outs. After this special trip, the couple held hands on their way out of the airport looking completely in love. Thank goodness! These star really do care about their fans as well as each other.
