Computer savvy, tech lover, Felicity Smoak (played by Emily Bett Rickards) has been upgraded to a series regular on Arrow.

She says she is thrilled with the news explaining, “I’m still beside myself,” having signed on as just a day player all those months ago. “It’s a roller coaster I never want to get off of.”

So, what exactly is the deal with her and a certain Oliver Queen? Rickards admits there’s possibly always been a crush there:

“When she was introduced to him in Episode 3, she was like, ‘Of course I know who you are! You’re the millionaire’s son who’s a total babe.’ It doesn’t ever pass her by that he’s an extremely good-looking man. So if the storyline ever decides to go that way, it wouldn’t be far-fetched at all.”

We’ve all been impressed by her presence on-screen in the last few episodes and can’t wait to see more of her in future episodes. I like that Oliver’s forming his own little alliance and I think she’s a great addition.
